This is a spectacular deal at the price. You are getting a lot of software for free as well as the measuring device itself. This thing saves me the trouble of entering data into a excel sheet. It will compute MAX/MIN points at any user selected point time span and record up to one year. I notice other reviewers have comments about Bluetooth range but for me I am using an iPad over 60' and thru one exterior wall and have no issues.They only minor con is that when compared to a NIST calibrated bulb thermometer, it is reading from .5 to 1.0 degree low. I am surprised, considering the considerable software effort they expended on this thing, that they have not included a calibrate adjustment feature.The mfg spec of 3" square is just flat wrong. I measure the exterior case at: 2-3/8Wx2-1/8Hx3/4D and the screen at: 1-7/7Wx7/8H. This is not an issue for me, but the screen is a rather low contrast LCD and you may have trouble reading it in certain lighting conditions.But at the price this thing is rather amazing and you might want to try one to see if it works for your application. Also the software allows you to monitor several of them, which opens up the possibility of placing them around your house at various points to get a handle on HVAC differentials. In short, this thing is potentially very useful, not something you can say for all such low priced consumer measurement devices. I have a friend with a +$300 Davis Instrument, that isn't as well done!

excellent product. accurate. versatile. durable. longlasting.bluetooth range is great. i can see the temp on my ground floor, sitting in the basement.the temp and humidity alerts are invaluable. the charts and data export features are also very useful.i greatly appreciate that i can use rechargeable AAA batteries in this thermometer, and that it's not outfitted with that dreaded custom lithium battery that lot of electronics makers use that render their product a one-time use, disposable product.i've owned several thermopro thermometers over the last 5 years or so, with previous versions of the tp 357 and also their cooking thermometers. they have all performed flawlessly over this period. no issues at all. i'd give this company 10 stars for product longevity if i could.this product's excellence is only matched by the company's stellar customer service. the luxury of being able to speak to a live person in customer service is a rare one these days. but not only do you get to speak to intelligent, informed, technically proficient and friendly customer service people at thermo pro, they are very easy to reach - (no long hold times or complicated automated phone routines). oh btw the company is based in the US, as is the customer service which is a total bonus.in this day and age, its almost impossible to find longlasting, durable products. and to actually have easily accessible, responsive customer service too.... is just icing on the cake.

I used these as a 'scientific yet non-scientific' experiment to see the temp and humidity of an enclosure. They worked great and consistently. The battery worked for about 30 days before needing replacement. The Bluetooth worked through a cast iron enclosure. Super simple. Their app is needed to download and is super intuitive - very easy to set up and use. There is no export to an email I could find so I captured app information my phone screen with a photo. It also tracks the historical temp and humidity. I can't recall how long it showed the historical information on the app. It does not save it either past the advancing date precursor. I used 3 sensors. One was placed outside near my enclosures to track the outdoor ambient temp and the other 2 inside separate cast iron enclosures. For our experiment, the humidity was the surprise bonus metric to capture!This would work great for a house crawl space! It would be readable from outside the house or from the first floor.

I would give this 5 stars if the battery hadn’t died so quickly I believe it lasted 2 weeks. I loved being able to read the large display on the monitor and on my phone. The brightness was good but hard to see at night. The product functioned as intended. I love the temperature and humidity reading for my car in the summer or even my house. I mainly used this in the summer I would wait nearby my car while I watched my phone let me know how hot the car was before putting the baby in.

Wow, I'm about to buy another of this item because it works great. I bought 2 in 2022 and 2 more in 2023. I've got them placed in the chicken coop, the chicken run, the house basement and on the main floor of the house. All four are still going strong and giving me updates on both temperatures and battery life using the phone app. Really helpful monitoring all areas during both the summer and winter. I'll be picking up one more to keep tabs on the RV temperature.
