They look exactly as shown in the pictures. The colors are nice. Not faded or anything like that. They are pretty thin though. These would be great for beginners to practice sewing or to do small projects like making Barbie clothes. They can be used for other projects too if you use some king of backing material with them.

The package I received had 6 color families, except I got orange instead of pink. Purple, light green, orange, tan, dark blue, light blue; 7 coordinating prints in each color. The patterns were the same as those in the pictures. I would have preferred the pink, but it is closer than some of the other mixes I have ordered.
