Sturdy, perfect for quick sharpening.
Good size, great for quick sharpening when you don't want to use a grinder or large sharpening device. Good value for the money.

Used once, worked good
Used once on the flat sides of a couple carbide-tipped router bits. Seems to have worked good enough. The bits were noticeably sharper. But how many times can I do that and the credit-card sized sharpener will still work? I dunno.

Perfect for a "all use" knife
I use this stone to sharpen my edc knifes, only wish the little carrier for the stone was more durable.

Good for use with Lathe tools
This hone often produces a better burr than my CBN wheels. It seems the lapping fluid is unnecessary. Also, it is nice and stiff.

Must have!
This is a must-have item for any woodworker or DIYer! I bought this item to sharpen my tablesaw blades and also used it for my router bits. Extremely easy use, something to put in your pocket and carry around with you on the job site. I use the fine side to sharpen the table saw blades. When you need a quick edge restored back on your chisels or saw blades or plaine blades this item is great to have in your pocket so you don’t have to break out your sharpening stones or station to do any work.

When my bits got dull, I would drop them off at a local ...
I have been making routed signs for almost 30 years. When my bits got dull, I would drop them off at a local sharpening service. At $7.50 per bit, less than half of them were machined properly. Eventually, I resorted to giving them away or selling them on eBay.Just by chance, a customer who happened to be a professional woodworker told me about the Trend stone. I ordered one, thinking I had nothing to lose but a few bucks if it didn't work. The product arrived super quick and I immediately went to the workshop to give it a try. The results are amazing! Four or 5 passes on each side of my Freud V-groove bit gave me edges sharper that new...unbelievable! I would even recommend using this stone on new bits- carbide on the 600 side and HSS on the 300 side.Make sure you get the lapping fluid and the cleaning block with the stone. I promise you will not be sorry. I use to spend at least $600.00 a year on V-bits. Not any more!
