Excellent product, very well designed, easy to sterilise/sanitise the carbon granules weekly. My council supplied mains water has a mouldy & chlorine odour along with a strong chlorine taste. Following use of the Aarke purifier the aroma is neutral and chlorine taste significantly reduced. Has enabled me to stop purchasing bottled water for drinking purposes.

I've tried many water filters to try and make south UK water drinkable. This is the ONLY one I have found that works well!

While this is an aesthetic water filter and it’s nice to have it made from glass and steel it is poorly designed. The granules get caught in the metal sieve part of the filter and it is impossible to get them out. This can lend to mould building up in the metal crevices. Also, there is rubber that comes in contact with the water so it is not entirely free from plastic materials. The granules work for approximately two weeks, any longer and you get a mouldy taste. I like the jug but it is amazing what passes for contemporary design nowadays, design flaws seem to part and parcel, even of higher end goods. Disappointing.

Very pleased with this water filter jug! The design is of high quality and beautiful. I thought it might be too heavy when it's filled up but it was fine.

We've had this since Christmas and its been actually been more useful than we thought it would be. It's easy to fill with granules and the water tastes great, even to us in the North of Wales blessed with great tap water. Recently, we've noticed that the shelf that it sits on in the fridge was getting damp, not a lot but noticeably. I joked it was the jug, because we've treated it with kid gloves, being an expensive glass item. My son decided to investigate and removed the silicone buffer from the bottom but there were no signs of damage. He popped it down on the worktop an a few seconds later, there was a weird crunching noise and a spiderweb crack appeared and a chunk of the base popped out. I can't stress enough that we've been really careful with the carafe and I can't help but think that it's arrived with a fault, surely it should have held up to more than 3 months use for the cost?!

La calidad es impresionante. El filtrado del agua también, deja un agua muy agradable al paladar, aunque si realizas un test de tds incomprensiblemente ves que no extrae tantos sólidos disueltos como otros sistemas de filtrado. Y aún así gana en palatabilidad.Realmente me ha impresionado.Eso sí, muy muy muy cara.

Enfin une carafe en verre de belle qualité et avec un beau design … le système de filtration est beaucoup plus écologique que Brita et cela me semble beaucoup plus sain que du pvc
