It's very quiet on the two lowest speeds, and quite tolerable at the highest speed. We stationed it about 8-10 feet from the bed and it produced a nice cooling breeze. The remote works well and is simple to use.Cons: As far as I can tell, there is no way to restrict the arc of the oscillation. On our cheap $25 fan, which is too loud and which this fan replaces, you can change it. On the lowest speed the Dreo goes through its path very slowly. The speed of the arc should not be dependent on the fan speed. Maybe one gets these features on pricier models, but it should be standard on the lower priced model.I don't understand the rationale for a "Natural" mode, which changes the fan speed. Not a big issue.

The fan is quiet. I added a photo of the base with a ruler to show the width and depth, which are both the same since the base is round. It fits in a small space between a bookshelf and the door.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Fan works great - offers great features. I wish I had purchased the fan style up, with features an app. I've never gotten the remote to work and can't find a replacement to order.

I live in upstate New York and have central air but many times it's not hot enough to turn that on. I got this fan for my living room area and I absolutely love it. It's so quiet. Even at the low setting of two it cools things off. The remote is helpful.

So quiet! I had it on low yesterday, and forgot to turn it off when I went to bed, because it is practically silent! I love the ease of the remote. I have central AC set around 77 and keep this going on low to supplement, hoping to save $ on my electric bill. I've noticed the price has jumped and rebounded recently. I paid $59.

Love this fan! Great velocity, yet quiet. And no vibration. The four speed fan option is nice as well as the timer. Remote control is a plus. I actually bought two and they cool a 1,100 sqft ranch.
