The media could not be loaded. I was pleasantly impressed by the amount of effort and attention to detail that went into the design of the adapter when I received it once it had been delivered to me. The compact, sleek, and discrete form factor ensured that it would blend in well with the interior of my vehicle, and the instructions that were included made the process of installing it a pleasure. I was able to connect the adapter and get it ready to use in a matter of minutes. When it came to the performance of the wifi system, I was quite impressed. The Wi-Fi connection operating at 5 GHz offered a connection that was both robust and reliable, with little latency and connectivity issues during the connection. The adapter's capacity to maintain a strong signal even in situations that could potentially interfere with it, such as subterranean parking garages or congested metropolitan surroundings, was a particularly significant feature.

Aside from the slow initial start, it can be a little tricky getting the right phone to connect when there are two phones that have been synced to the adapter in the car at the same time. But it didn't take more than a minute to get sorted out and then all was well. We really like not having to physically connect to the car's USB port.

I have a 2017 Ford Escape with bluetooth connection to music, but not maps. Plugging my phone in for maps to display was not convenient as the connection was very finicky with the cable. I accidentally bought another bluetooth adapter that was for CarPlay, iPhone only - I have an android. I held my breath when this arrived, and after a few hiccups, I have been really happy with it. The first few times I had to unpair and repair (my phone/car/this device) when getting into my car - but now, 99% of the time my phone is recognized. Sometimes it is instant, other times it might take up to two minutes. I unplug the device and plug it back in if it takes any longer. I have not lost the connection once it is created during that instance of use. Maps displays as if it was built into my car! Music skipping has less of a delay as well. I am extremely happy with this purchase especially the fact that I got is for less that $25 - have been using daily for the last 3 months and hope that it continues to last. ALSO - it did work with a newer iPhone when a family member borrowed my car.

the adapter has intermittent issue to connect to my phone if I don't start the car right away. Sometimes it disconnects itself while driving, then reconnects. i wonder if there is any driver update. my car is subaru forester 2021
