Q: How many of the projects are for older kids?

More than half of the cards require adult supervision (so could be done by older children).

Q: Do most of the projects use household items or will I have to go buy them?

Good question! We tried to make the projects as easy to access as possible so most use household items such as water, plastic bottles, paper towels, toilet paper, balloons, string, etc. Some of the more complicated items use baking powder, dry yeast, vinegar, or Q-tips, which some may not have on hand readily.

Q: How long do these experiments take on average?

The timing depends on the project and level of the child’s comprehension and ability. While some may take seconds (static electricity of a balloon), others may take several days to make (if it includes glue drying). Hope that helps.
