Great fit and easy install!
I bought this to match the tent I bought. it is a perfect fit and kept the dew off my tent. Inexpensive and serves its purpose.

Worked perfectly
[Edit for rainy use 05/25] Finally got to try it in the rain and it worked perfectly instead of a ton of puddles in my tent and dripping coming from condensation at the top. The top kept the tent dry and i only ended up with a very small condensation puddle from the walls. Which is on me for not resealing my tent last summer.Wasnt able to try it in the rain, but I can say it was money worth spent already, in the sunny mornings it helped keep the tent dim enough I could sleep longer, in the cold nights it helped keep the heat of my lantern in. And it was easy to put on/take off my tent alone.

Finally, a rainfly... What vestibule?
Yes, after a lot of customer feedback Coleman finally decided to release a rainfly for their Instant Tent line. As seen in my pictures above it comes in a similar pouch and it has the same tie-down lines and pin-style stakes as the tents themselves. As of this writing I have yet to find any information on this item from Coleman themselves. Most of what I read before purchasing my Instant Tent 6 was on the FJ Cruiser Forum at [...], and the Expedition Portal forum at [...].The rainfly itself is pretty much what you expect, a very tight weave of poly fabric with double-stitched seams, and it should work well. Considering all the Instant Tent reviews talking about leaking this should have been an available accessory from the very beginning, and if Coleman's smart about it they should start including it with the purchase of a new tent. A rainfly not only helps keep you dry when it rains, it also provides the air gap that becomes an extra bit of insulation in winter and summer. Since the fly has no venting it will retain some of the warmth leaking out the top of the tent in cold weather. In my neck of the woods it also provides some extra shade in the summertime. The two main reasons I gave this item 4 stars and not 5?..1. What vestibule? I realize the product description comes from Coleman, the manufacturer, and not from Amazon. That said, Amazon needs to amend it and take the manufacturer to task for the incorrectness. I pre-ordered this product even though no one had seen it yet and there were no pictures anywhere on the internet. I am happy that I have a rainfly for a tent that I enjoy using, but when the description clearly states "...The Rainfly also instantly creates a spacious vestibule outside -- perfect for stowing shoes and other gear...", then that is what you expect to get for your money. A look at the picture of the pouch shows Coleman's own image of the entry door to the tent with the fly on top of the tent. There is clearly no extra coverage over the entry door...2. The description also clearly states that you can 'comfortably' open the windows when it's raining, yet the fly just covers the top couple of inches on those huge tent windows. Personally, if I'm going to have to spend extra to get a rainfly it should be worth the time and $$ and not just a specially shaped tarp (though most are). The fly should extend far enough down to get the windows at least half-open, and there should be spring-tension rods to give the fly shape and keep it rigid where it is away from the tent. Basically this would give the fly little 'awnings' for each window like those commmonly seen on roof top tents (see pictures here for reference - [...]).So in the end we finally get a rainfly for the Instant Tents, but that's all it is, so don't tell us it does more than that, Coleman.

You only need to buy this Once!
Easy to put on, even if you are alone. Held up under extreme conditions 4 days of straight rain. No need to buy again as it works!

Bought 6 person tent fly for 4 person tent - works just fine
So, this amazing tent comes with no rainfly, ok, I had to buy it separately. This is a flat top tent, who wouldn't buy a rainfly? Without it, the tent could potentially leak. All of the 4 person tent rainflies that would fit the Coleman instant tent were sold, so I bought the one for the six person tent and it fits just fine because the design of the tent rainfly is perfect, it snaps to the poles and also has ties downs. I can set this tent up in one minute, take it down and store it in the bag in two minutes. Oh, and people, WATERPROOF YOUR TENT! Every year if needed. I used Scotchguard for tents (two cans needed), but there are many products out there. When you spray your hose on the rainfly and your tent, the water should bead, see pictures. People who wrote that this tent leaks (duh, it is made of fabric)... you have to be smart and prepared. You will need a separate tarp underneath (tuck in all the edges under your tent) and buy tent poles and tie this tent down, it is very light weight. Enjoy!

Do not go camping without purchasing for this specific tent
Must purchase for your tent. It does not come with a rain guard so make sure you get this too
