Piston Kleen Carbon Remover 1 Gallon

This stuff works amazing. I have been rebuilding an engine and not only does it clean the pistons, it is great at cleaning anything with carbon buildup. This stuff works amazingly. Well worth the money. Will definitely be buying it again. If you go to their website you can buy it in bulk which is cheaper

I soaked some pistons and brushed this on cylinder heads. It does remove carbon deposits, but takes quite a bit of time to do so.

Delivered on time, good packaging, and this stuff works great. Works better if you heat it, as the manufacturer does point out, but leaving it overnight works well too. Will definitely be using this again, it's particularly beneficial to have a non-toxic, relatively safe, biodegradable alternative to other chemicals that works so well.

Run away, I repeat, Run away this is junk!

It’s quite expensive and I expected all carbon to be dissolve overnight or so but it only does a little job even soaking the parts for more than a week.

Didn't really work like I was hoping. I am making ashtrays out of large diesel engine pistons and needed a way to remove the carbon. I tried using it both hot and cold, even soaking for days but still have heavy carbon deposits. Maybe it's the diesel carbon as to why it didn't work well but I will try it on my bolt carrier group and see if it works for that.

This chemical works great. It does not have that strong chemical smell. Works fast. Read the instructions

I had a firearm and accessories with heavy carbon fouling that I had not cleaned like I should. It melted the carbon and the remaining clean up took very little effort. The aluminum was undamaged but the anodizing was ruined. I would highly recommend this product but it is for bare aluminum only. In my case ruining the anodizing was OK as there was no other way to remove the carbon. I had tried blasting, scrubbing, etc. So I was more restoring that cleaning.
