Great value
This tool works great. The lugs are good quality.Match the crimping dies with the label on the supplied lugs. Marked in millimeter.

Works well in most situations
Definitely did the job. A bit awkward to start, as it works the same way as bolt cutters, with the handles almost in a straight line. This means you need lots of room. Still better than the anvil and hammer type.

Crimper has metric dies, not standard. Worked great
I took off 1 star becuase the crimper I received was setup for metric guage wire. Had to find a conversion table to let me know which dies to use with 4 guage. Worked like a champ though. AI to the rescue. Probably won't have to use it again, but now I have it.

Unbeatable price for quality of item. Crimpers could use a manual explaining crimp selection and number attached to that crimp selection. Well made wire cutters.

WORKS BUT NOT PERFECTLY!
This crimper works but it does leave a tab pushed off the side esp on smaller guage wires (8 awg) in its useful range. I noticed I could rotate it and crimp a 2nd time and it would b better. The tab I mention is towards the opening were the tools 2 sides come together. If that makes sense.It does however work to crimp ring terminals onto Car stereo or car battery cable. I used mine multiple times on a car stereo install and on a battery to 🔋 battery charger install using 8 awg and 6 awg and 4 awg wires. The terminals sent with this kit r copper. They r not super heavy duty compared to battery cable terminals you would buy for 4 awg wire from like Auto Zn. But it does do a satisfactory job. Much better than trying to use a vise or a 10" long handled crimp tool were there is not much mechanical advantage.MY EXP.I am an HVAC TECH AND INSTALLED MANY CAR STEREOS OVER THE YEARS.
