Dahlefor Trimmers 507 & 508 Replacement Blade

I was worried that it might be the wrong size replacement blade, but the picture of the item seemed close so I tried it. My cutter is Making Memories and they are out of business so I needed something. I've had my cutter for over 12 years and it was time for a new blade and this one works great. I almost think I need to buy another one for 10 years down the road.

This is an OEM part to replace the wearable part. On mine, the blade was still sharp but the wheel which travels against the base had worn and did not operate smoothly.A bit expensive, but terrific quality.

I've been using my Dahle 507 Personal Trimmer for over a decade and find it necessary to replace the cutting head about once every six months. I've made well over 2,000 greeting cards since I purchased my Dahle Trimmer and each card averages over two cuts, so I get my money's worth out of the replacement blades. I am usually working with 80 lb. card stock, although these blades will also handle fabric-covered card stock with ease.These cutter replacement blades are easy to replace as long as you keep track of how the old blade came off of the sliding bar.

This is replacement for the original. Seems to work just fine.

I installed the blade according to the directions and my trimmer is as good as new. And it cost a lot less than buying a new one.

Dahle is simply the best! They are the only brand cutter a use!

Be sure you check the hole the bar goes through before you purchase. My 508 has a triangular hole - this one is rectangle! It does not fit on the older 508 series!
