Great value!
Does everything it says it will do.Charged a few motorcycle batteries that were dead and it seemed to restore them.Charged my truck battery as well.No issues so far.For the price you can’t go wrong.Of course there’s no hi amp Jump starting function but it works for what it is made for.

Perfect 10amp charger/maintainer iner
This black model is the same as the red one, but was discounted $8 less than the $30 red one. (Guess people like red better). It charged two heavy duty deep cycle boat batteries (protects them from winter freezing). It advertises a 10 amp charge rate. It's definitely better/faster than similarly priced trickle chargers (which it does also). I charged one battery at 10amps and one at trickle. They both show a full indicator, but while the 10amp charger seems to completely turn off when full, the trickle charge stays on as a battery maintainer. It has a built in fan which runs automatically while it's charging. Unlike some similar chargers which advertise copper clamps this does not, and it' seems , with a magnet, that the clamps are not copper. They could be a lower grade stainless, but since they are fully insulated (a good thing for tight spots), it's hard to know exactly what they're made of. Unless it's being used in a marine environment, not sure it makes much difference, especially cause no part of a charger should be exposed to water. The clamps don't get hot at all, so there can't be any power drain during charging, whatever they are.The quality seems good, and more than adequate (other than for commercial use), as it does so many things, including a reconditioning (desulfering?) cycle, and is very easy to use.I would definitely recommend it, and will follow up with any issues, if they occur. Long term, who can say how good anything is in advance?

Amazing Full Featured Charger with Some Engineering Quirks
I have a NOCO Genius 1 and 5 which are top rated chargers but on the more pricey side. I wanted with more amps so I could reduce the charging time in the event of an emergency. This charger has 7 stages so for $20, it will equally and safely charge you battery with internal intelligence to compensate for battery condition and temperature just like the $100 NOCO10 equivalent. With that much of a price difference (1/5th the price).People complaining that's not true 10A need to realize that is the Max output but the charger will determine the current state of your battery and throttle back to prevent damage and overheating. All smart chargers do this and it's not a flaw, it's smart. But like all products, it does have some room for improvement. For most cars the STD mode will apply. I love that it applies desulfation the start of the cycle to "clean up" the plates for maximum absorption and final voltage. Once full charged, it will say FUL and then go into a 2 hr trickle mode for maximum absorption. Why 2 hrs??? I have no idea what the engineers were thinking. The instructions tell you for long term storage, you should charge the battery normally, then switch to Motorcycle Mode which reduces the amp output to maintain a true set-it-and-forget-it trickle charge. Now, I was thinking I could cheat the charger by just selecting the Motorcycle Mode from the start, but this mode skips the desulfation cycle altogether. If you have a fairly new battery, than this won't matter much. The NOCO chargers run all cycles and automatically switch to a permanent trickle maintenance mode. No need to change any button setting so the win goes to NOCO here.If the engineers just added trickle to all modes, than this would 5 star hands down as the best value out there for a smart multi-type battery charger. Maybe they will redesign this in the future. All in all a robust charger with a quirky long term trickle maintenance selector.

Easy to use charger
Item was well packed and delivered early! Product worked as advertised. Used it to charge a pontoon marine battery in the AGM mode. Instructions included and easy to follow. Display was easy to read. My battery was already at 75% so the charge took only a few hours.

Charger works great & has smart functionality!
Used this charger several times to maintain battery charge & health. Using it on my AGM battery was slightly different but showed improved health with a follow-up battery tester. For the AGM batt, I had to press mode once to select the AGM option (with leads connected - but power cord unplugged).I don't think the DFS / Desulfate step applies to AGM batteries.I was able to charge from the positive lead under hood, rather than going to the battery (in trunk). Here are the steps I follow:1. Connect leads to + & - battery power. Observe readouts.2. Change mode unless charging standard battery.3. Connect to power - plug it in. Observe readouts.4. Full appears when the charging stops - but wait for the next status "Off".5. OFF readout appears an hour or so after FULL. Unsure but seems complete after it says OFF.6. Unplug power plug - observe readouts for voltage level.7. Disconnect + & - leads - all done!

Affordable unit that does what it’s supposed to do
I’ve only used this unit in a few times, but seems to work proper, is very compact, and is doing job I needed to do at a great price

Does what its supposed to do, and does it well
I can't find any reason to give it any less than 5 stars. A compact yet powerful charger, with intelligent modes.Excellent price point. Highly recommended.
