82440 Alcohol Torch

Currently using it to smooth the base wax for dentures. I absolutely love how easy it is to use.

I have had one from another brand that was more expensive and works the same way. I would buy it again

I use this torch for detailing in wax. I love it. It’s the best on the market for the ability to control the amount of flame and heat. All you do literally is squeeze it. The harder you squeeze the hotter and bigger the flame. So easy and gives you such a comfort of control since you are using you natural sense of touch. I have several different kind and most have a sliding knob to turn the flame/heat up and down but when you are working to keep the small details they don’t compare and are twice as expensive. I literally use mine everyday and it still looks as new as it did when I bought it. Holds up very very well. Best part if you need more fuel just about everywhere sells denatured alcohol. Walmart is where I get mine it’s $8 and last me over a month and I use it everyday. Can’t go wrong with this torch at all.

It’s compact and it works. Perhaps it’s because I’m not used to using this kind of torch, but I think the flame is a bit too large. Maybe there’s a way to adjust this? Huge bonus that it had those weighted marbles at the bottom to prevent it from tiping over. That would be awful. I’m happy with my purchase, especially for the price!

Purchased this for our dental office for melting wax. Works great for the job.

I use it to clean fuzzies when building fishing rods. It works well when you use proper technique. It’s a pretty simple design. Works well.

After using this for a minute or two thw metal tube is very hot and melts the plastic cap you have to reinstall to put the torch out. A metal cap would probably be a better choice.

Plugged air tube, can't clear. Can't return, so waste of money.System wouldn't allow me to contact the seller. Kept saying not returnable item. All I wanted was a new tube so I can fix it.STAY AWAY!
